Gestational diabetes is any level of sugar in the bloodstream above the normal range, which is first diagnosed during pregnancy. Blood glucose levels usually return to normal after the birth. I have been diabetic and hypothyroid since the last 20 years and was on oral medications for the same. I was developing numbness and weakness in my feet due to neuropathy, increase in urinary frequency and episodes of hypos in blood sugar levels since the last few months.
